Food Intolerance Kit

Tests for IgG antibodies (all four subtypes: IgG1–4) against 200+ food and drink ingredients, including dairy, gluten, fruit, vegetables, grains, meats, nuts, drinks, herbs, spices, Legumes, and more.

● These are markers of immune system reactivity, not allergic reactions (which involve IgE antibodies)

● The test can help identify foods that may be causing digestive symptoms, such as: Bloating, Gas, Diarrhea or constipation, IBS-like discomfort

● It’s based on your immune response to foods, which can affect gut lining and symptoms.

What It Does Not Test For

● IgE allergies (life-threatening allergies like peanut or shellfish anaphylaxis)

● Coeliac disease or lactose intolerance

● Nutrient deficiencies

● Gut microbiome composition

● Often seen as a helpful starting point for elimination diets, especially when symptoms are vague or multi-factorial

● Many users find benefit when eliminating foods flagged as reactive, often with symptom improvement

● Customers must be aged 18 years or over to take this test. This test is not suitable for customers who are pregnant or breastfeeding

● Your gut is home to 70% of your immune system, help yourself by reducing the number of allergens and intolerances in your diet that you are reacting to, you can help support your immune system as the gut won’t be fighting off items that may be causing it to ‘overwork’. Does not diagnose conditions like coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, chemical sensitivities, or histamine intolerance — only IgG-mediated food reactions.

When should you take the test?

● Any time of day is generally fine — there’s no need to fast.

● Take the sample when you’re eating a typical, varied diet, especially foods you suspect may be causing issues.

● You should be actively consuming the foods you want tested (within the past 3 weeks), so your immune system has time to produce IgG antibodies.

When shouldn’t you test?

● You’ve been on an elimination diet (avoiding certain foods) for 3+ weeks, as IgG levels to those foods may have dropped, giving false negatives.

● You’re currently taking immunosuppressant medications (e.g., corticosteroids), which can lower antibody levels and affect results.

● You’ve had a blood transfusion or immunoglobulin therapy recently — wait at least 3 months.
